Does the Catholic Church really possess the power to change God's Laws ? They boast that they do and that most professing Protestants agree with them because they accept the change from the Bible Sabbath , Saturday, the Seventh Day of the week, to Sunday the first day of the week. The Catholic Church boldly asserts that it has power to change God's Law , do You really believe that ?

Shall we accept the supposed authority of the Popes, or the authority of God's Holy Word ? At Creation , God, instituted two special events for the human family.

First: God instituted the marriage of men and women
to bring forth children in their own image,
which was the image of God, to the Glory of God
and the populating of the newly created earth.

Second: God instituted the Seventh Day Sabbath, a memorial
of His created work. A Day for His Children to
Remember that all their eyes beheld, and all the
privileges they had came from the hand of a loving
and merciful Creator.

All through the history of the Old Testament, God's faithful children kept the Seventh Day Sabbath, this fact no one can deny ! When Jesus came, He too kept the Seventh Day Sabbath ! The Bible says:

"And He (Jesus) came to Nazareth, where He
had been brought up: and, as His custom was
He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath Day
and stood up for to read."
Luke 4: 16.

IN the days of Christ His followers knew of only one Sabbath that was to be kept every 7th Day. There were several ceremonial Sabbaths connected with the yearly feasts but only one weekly Sabbath. In Isaiah 66:23 it says we will keep the 7th Day Sabbath in the New Earth !
Did God change it from the crucifixion to the second coming of Christ and then is going to change it back again ? Of course not, God never changes and He never needs to, and never will change His Laws. But an enemy, the "agent of Satan" has "thought to change God's Laws" and boasts that they did change the Sabbath from Saturday the 7th Day to Sunday the first day of the week ! But Friend, no one has the authority to change God's Law, NO One, not even the
Popes .!

But this attempt to change God's Law was long ago prophesied in the Bible , did you study that prophecy yet ? It is found in the book of Daniel the prophet in the Old Testament. Notice what God says :

"Thus He said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down , and break it in pieces.

"And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall arise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

"and he shall speak great words against The Most High, and shall wear out the saints of The Most High, and think to change times and laws:...."

Notice it says he would "think" to change times and laws" !
This power who followed the division of the Pagan Roman Empire into ten kingdoms, would "subdue three king" in its rise to power. Check it out for yourself friend, history records that the Bishop of Rome was given the city of Rome by Emperor Constantine who moved the "seat" of his kingdom to Constantinople ! Thus was the beginning of what is known to this day as the Roman Catholic Church. From the year 538 AD to 1798 AD the Catholic Church ruled the lands of Europe. The Vatican power has "changed times and laws" and the majority of the professed Christian world follows her lead ! But , does God accept these changes to His Holy Law ? NEVER !

The Pope "thinks" he can change God's Laws. Did God make a mistake that He needs a sinful , evil, man to correct them ?
The Pope claims he is "The Vicar of The Son of God" that he is "God on Earth"., and was given this power to alter God's Laws ! What does God Say:

"My Covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that
is gone out of My lips" Psalm 89: 34

What are the Words of God's Covenant ?

"When I was gone up into the mount,to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the Covenant which the Lord made with You ......And the Lord delivered unto me two tables of stone, written with the finger of God, and on them was written according to all the words, which the Lord spake with You....." Deut. 9: 9-10.

The Ten Commandments are the words of God's Covenant !
He says He will never change them; how dare a sinful mortal ever think or try to change them ! God's Holy Law can not and is not changed; the Catholic Church is in opposition to God, and is Antichrist personified; the visible agent of Satan!

The Sabbath Commandment is the SEAL of God's Law. It Identifies God as CREATOR & King of the Universe. Without this SEAL we know not which god we worship ! Which god do You worship ? Six days God worked in creating this planet and on the SEVENTH DAY He rested, He said :

REMEMBER : THE SABBATH DAY TO KEEP IT HOLY. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work; but THE SEVENTH DAY is the SABBATH of THE LORD THY GOD : in IT thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy man servant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in SIX days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the Seventh Day: : wherefire the LORD Blessed the SABBATH DAY and hallowed it," Exodus 20: 8-11,

Look at your calendar Friend. The first day is called; Sunday, second; Monday, third; Tuesday. fourth; Wednesday, fifth; Thursday, sixth; Friday, SEVENTH = SATURDAY !
Saturday is the seventh day and is GOD's HOLY SABBATH DAY !
God has not changed it; in fact we will keep it through the eternal ages in the New Earth :
